Milwaukee, Wisc., network likely won't expand: Midwest Fiber Networks spent $700,000 to build a pilot network that they can't fund citywide. They want anchor tenants for the $20m network, and can't get the city signed on. The company will continue running the network, though, and is looking into alternatives.
