GameDuell takes $17.5M second round

European venture firm Wellington Partners said it had invested more than 11 million ($17.5 million) in German startup GameDuell, a creator of online video games that delivers cash prizes to participants. Founded and launched in 2003, GameDuell previously raised a Series A round of undisclosed size from Holtzbrinck Ventures and Burda Digital Ventures, both of Munich, in 2004.
