Kliener Perkins Launches Green Fund Of $500 Milllion

Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, the world s best know venture capital firm, has raised its 13th fund of $500 million to target large companies pursuing green ventures. The $500 million Green Growth Fund is intended to help speed mass market adoption of solutions to the world s climate crisis. John Denniston, a partner at Kleiner Perkins, will co-manage the new fund along with Ben Kortlang, plucked from Goldman Sachs where he previously co-directed alternative energy investments.The VC firm also announced the formation of KPCB XIII, a $700 million fund that will invest in cleantech,...
