BMC Software: Solid FY Q4; 09 EPS Guidance Tops Street

BMC Software (BMC) reported revenue for its fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 of $467 million, ahead of the Street consensus of $460.3 million. Non-GAAP EPS of 63 cents a share beat the Street by 12 cents.For the March 2009 fiscal year, the mainframe software company sees non-GAAP profits of $2.10 to $2.20 a share; the Street has been looking for $2.09.After hours, BMC shares have spiked $1.57, or 4.3%, to $38. ...
