Strathmore to acquire Marquez Uranium Property in New Mexico

Strathmore Minerals Corporation [TSX-V:STM] shares jumped 5% to C$2.76 on Wednesday after announcing that it will acquire the Marquez Uranium Property in McKinley and Sandoval Counties, New Mexico, comprising of 14,582 acres. The Marquez Property contains an estimated 2,754,000 tonnes averaging 0.17% for a historical resource totaling 9,362,000 pounds U3O8 (non NI 43-101 compliant), based on a cut-off grade of 0.10% and a minimum thickness of 6 feet.
