Platts reports: A study by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has found no evidence of manipulation in the silver futures market for the trading period 2005-2007. The CFTC's division of market oversight released a report Wednesday that re-examines long-term and recent allegations of misconduct in the silver markets and finds that there is no evidence of manipulation in those markets for the trading period examined, the CFTC said in a statement.
