Virgin Mobile unveils $80 pre-paid unlimited plan

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Virgin Mobile USA Inc. on Tuesday unveiled a flat-rate calling plan, joining in on the industry-wide embrace of unlimited cellphone calls. The Warren, N.J., cellular provider will launch its pre-paid service, Totally Everything, for $79.99 a month. Even with the additional $10 for text-messaging and email, this undercuts many of the national wireless carriers, which offer similar plans for $20 more. Because it is prepaid, customers won't have to sign contracts and are free to leave at any time....
