InBev CEO says Anheuser-Busch offer fair, final: report

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- InBev Chief Executive Carlos Brito said the $65-a-share offer for Anheuser-Busch Cos. was a fair price and indicated the brewer would not raise its offer, The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday on its Web site. It's a fair price, a full price, that's it, Brito told reporters after he met with Sen. Claire McCaskill, Missouri's Democrat junior senator who has vowed to stop the deal, according to the newspaper....
