PetroChina's Jiang steps down as president, remains chairman

HONG KONG (MarketWatch) -- PetroChina Co. , China's largest listed oil company by output, said Friday Jiang Jiemin stepped down as the company's president but will remain as chairman of its board. Zhou Jiping, a PetroChina executive director, will become the company's president, it said in a statement. Zhou will also become the board's vice chairman, the company said. The personnel changes took effect earlier Friday, the statement said without providing a reason for the changes....
