Altius stock falls on news that investment now in creditor protection

Altius Minerals Corp. dropped the most in the 17 months that it s been trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange, falling 42% to $7.18 at about 12:30 p.m.The developer of a $5.1-billion refinery in Newfoundland said that Newfoundland & Labrador Refining Corp., of which it owns 39.6%, is seeking creditor protection. Its investment in NLRC totals $52.2 million in equity and debt, Altius said in a statement ....
