Is Michael Masters for real? For those of you who are not aware, he is one of the gentlemen that presented to the CFTC about the impact that new money coming into the commodity sector has had with the recent price appreciation in commodities, most specifically in food and energy. His belief is that deep-pocketed investors such as corporate government pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, university endowments and kindred institutions are responsible for the phenomenal run higher in prices.
