Friday's Bond Outlook: Settling Down

Prices of Treasury coupon securities retreated in overseas trading as most major equity markets posted gains. The yield on the benchmark 2 year note has jumped 5 basis points to 2.47 percent. The yield on the benchmark 5 year note has climbed 4 basis points to 3.12 percent. The yield on the 10 year note has moved higher by 3 basis points to 3.84 percent and the Yield on the Long Bond is 2 basis points higher at 4.57 percent.
